"I bet she'll look just like her mother," Mei said with a wide smile. "Oh good. You're here." The two women looked up, startled. A handsome young man with dark hair and eyes was standing near them, smiling slightly.
"Its also a lot easier to say than Beelzebub. Especially when the speaker in question is pretending to be a little girl." Cam smiled. "Tell him that I hope he can be at the birth, please?"

Kira sighed. "We'd best keep Lucifer away from him for quite a while."
"I'd say...until after the baby's born. It'll probably take him that long ot calm down."
"And then he'll have another adorable Grandchild to dote on." Kira smiled. "Thank you for helping Cam out."
"She's my little sister after all."
"I know. But not everyone would help." Kira stood up and hugged Mei.
Mei smiled and hugged her back.
"It's no trouble, really."
"You should probably get back to your husband and son before they destroy your house."
"I will. I'll call you guys later." Mei waved and left.
Kira smiled and went back into the kitchen. Everything had gone fairly well...considering...

"How are you feeling?" Mei handed her sister-in-law a cup of tea, smiling softly. "Still sore?"
Cam nodded as she took the tea. "And tired. The little one kept me up all night."
"She's very active. She'll be a little terror I think."
"With Lucifer as the father? I'd be surprised if she wasn't." She patted her large belly. "I just hope he shows up for the birth."
"Oh, I'm sure he will. Well...maybe if your mother ties your father ot a chair."
"I told Daddy the other day that he wasn't allowed any further in than the waiting room until after the birth."
"Good girl," Mei said with a laugh. "So. I was going to take the kids to the park today. Do you think you could manage to come along?"
"Oh, I suppose. Its good for me, after all."
"Alright then. Give me a few moments to get the rugrats ready."
"It'll probably take that long for me to get ready."
"Take your time, sweetie. Don't want you hurting yourself." Mei hurried out to find her children.
Cam smiled and slowly got up, it was a bit hard for her to move fast these days.
She was, after all, nine months pregnant, and very close to her due date.
She pulled on a pair of shoes and grabbed her jacket. She waddled to the front door to wait for the others.
Sammael appeared with his mother and sister a few minutes later.
"Almost time, huh, Auntie Cam?"
"Yes, its almost time." She ruffled her nephew's hair.
"Guess you can't play with me in the sand today, huh?"
"No. I'd better not, kiddo."
"Don't pester, Sam." Mei ushered everyone out the door.

"Nothing like a little fresh air."
Cam took a deep breath as she settled on the park bench. "Very true."
"Go on and play, Sam. But stay close."
"I will." He skipped off.
"How are you feeling? Still sore?"
Cam rested a hand on her belly. "Yes. I'm ready for my little girl to be born already."
"I bet she'll look just like her mother," Mei said with a wide smile.
"Oh good. You're here." The two women looked up, startled. A handsome young man with dark hair and eyes was standing near them, smiling slightly.
Cam looked at him, frowning. "Who--?"
"Lucifer sent me. He's away on business and he said he had something to give you." The man reached into a coat pocket, removing a small black box.
Cam took it. "Thank you, Bee. Right?"
The man scowled.
"Damn that man. I TOLD him not to use that nickname." Mei giggled.
"Why? It's kind of cute."
"Its also a lot easier to say than Beelzebub. Especially when the speaker in question is pretending to be a little girl." Cam smiled. "Tell him that I hope he can be at the birth, please?"
The man nodded and bowed.
"I will deliver the message personally." Dark light enveloped him and he was gone.
Cam looked down at the box in her hands and slowly opened it.
Inside was a beautiful gold locket on a long chain.
She took it out. "Oh, how pretty..." She carefully opened it.
Nothing.
"We'll get a picture of him when he comes to the delivery."
Cam nodded. "I just hoped that he'd put something in there..."
"Oh! Wait, look!" Mei took the locket, turning it in the light. Etched into the gold was an apple and on the other side "I Love You."
She smiled slightly at it. "I love you, too..." she whispered.
